How to Help Children with Autism to Make Friends:

Social Interaction can be sometimes baffling for people with autism. They might turn out to be effectively overwhelmed or frustrated when they try to develop and support friendships. Creating friendship can be irritating, frightening and confusing for the individual with autism. Unfortunately, many children with autism do not lay out friendships and keep on experiencing issues once they get into their teen years. Once all the images are recognised by the child try recording someone acting on these emotions. Studying these kinds of emotions will help the child to pick up on the non verbal communication and recognise when the individual is angry, happy, sad or frustrated.

Remember to praise your child and point out their positive behaviour. Encouraging your child to build his social skills through acknowledgment and praise will not only help them to build their social skills but also will help them to be confident enough. Support your child and make the process as fun and playful as possible.
