Uttara Sharma
Uttara is a Counselor and Special Educator at FutuReady. She is a certified counselor from Banjara Academy, Bangalore and has a PG Diploma in Special Education Needs Teacher from APTTI, Kolkata. She has the experience of working across children with various Mental, Emotional, Physical and Learning disabilities. She firmly believes that all children are entitled to Education and for those who come to our therapy centre she is able to mould her teaching methods to suit the strengths of the child. She sets learning goals for the students, assesses their progress and records evaluation. As a counselor she also provides parental guidance, behaviour control measures and home activities which supplement the structure followed at our centre.Uttara is keen to stay updated with clinical and professional practices and ensures she does this by utilizing the range of resources and undertaking regular professional development. She has a strong interest in the areas of play-based therapy, motor planning and sensory processing.
