Romaine Schubert, M.D. is an experienced, highly regarded child neurologist. She is Board certified in Neurology with Special Certification in Child Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology (EEG) and Developmental Disabilities by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She attended medical school in Munich, Germany, followed by a pediatric residence and pediatric neurology fellowship at SUNY-Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. She served as Chief of Pediatric Neurology and headed the Pediatric Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital (affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical Center) for 15 years (2002-2017). She has taught medical students and residents affiliated with New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical Center and SUNY-Downstate Medical Center. She has nearly 30 years of experience in evaluating and treating children with neurological disorders and developmental disabilities, including seizures and epilepsy, autism spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, tic disorders/Tourette syndrome, developmental delays/learning disabilities and other neurological disorders
