Mrs June Tham-Toh Syn Yuen
Mrs June Tham-Toh Syn Yuen has been a part of a generation in the evolution and development of the special needs landscape in Singapore for more than three decades. Graduated with a Master in Education and attended specialised training on early intervention and autism in US and Trainer’s course on Outcome Management, June was the former Executive Director of Rainbow Centre Singapore till 2014. She has extensive experience in the special needs sector in the governance and provision of early intervention and special education for children with special needs. She played a significant role in the visionary formation of Rainbow Centre, and was instrumental in setting a benchmark for purpose-built facilities for early intervention and special education programmes. A firm believer for professional development and support for caregivers, she established a training and consultancy arm in Rainbow Centre to promote awareness and professional competency in the sector for caregivers and professionals in early childhood and special education.
