Lori Johnston
Lori Johnston is an ASHA Certified and NJ Licensed Speech Language Pathologist who is passionate about her career and the life changing impact she has on the families she works with. She has over 25 years’ experience working in the public schools, private practice, with an Ear Nose & Throat Specialist Group, and in Early Intervention. She earned her degrees from Fredonia State University in New York and Trenton State College in New Jersey. Lori focuses on a whole-body approach to speech and language therapy. She incorporates bottom-up, neuro-developmental, visual, auditory, cognitive linguistic, sensory motor, and movement techniques in her treatment plans. Her specialty areas include auditory and language processing, cognitive linguistic development, as well as language based reading and writing disorders including dyslexia. Her multi-sensory approach mixes visual, auditory, fine motor, and gross motor activities in a way that progressively helps a child’s build their own speech and language skills.
