Juliette M. Tuakli
As the founder and chief medical director of CHILDAccra, Dr. Tuakli brings 30 years of pediatric and family medicine practice to the clinic. Dr. Tuakli is an expert in healthcare, education, program development and community outreach, and is passionate when it comes to the health and rights of women and children in Africa.<br /> Dr. Tuakli has served as a clinical professor at Harvard and a clinical instructor in pediatrics at Boston Medical School. She also established the Community Pediatric Department at the Children’s Hospital of Boston and directed the development of a national HIV/AIDS program in Africa.<br /> In addition to her work at CHILDAccra, Dr. Tuakli currently serves as an International Board Member for Mercy Ships and a Trustee for United Way Worldwide.
