Learning a language occurs by first understanding the language and then expressing the language. Here comes the importance of receptive language skills which means, understanding of the language. If the child learns and understands the language, it is easier to train the child to express it by using words which are already learned. The objective of this book is to assist parents and/ caretaker in developing the child’s understanding of the language. By focus given on the receptive language, it makes a solid foundation for the future expressive language skills in children.
