Spandhana centre
Spandhana is a Calicut based center in Kerala which focused on empowering the life of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other intellectual disabilities. The children and young adults with autism spectrum disorders and other intellectual disabilities face difficulties when the go and move around in the society. It is very important to give early intervention to the children which will help for them in regular schooling as a part of inclusion. The real inclusion comes when these young adults are accepted by the society in daily living as well as in employment sector. Through this program we will be focusing on all the areas of interventions to the children which will help them to support in their day to day life. Our emphasis on early intervention, other supporting therapies, remedial trainings, vocational training and providing evidence based research in the areas of intellectual disabilities. These will help to provide proper rehabilitation for the individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other intellectual disabilities.
