Regional Institute for Mentally Handicapped (RIMH) was started with an aim to provide educational & vocational training services to mentally challenged children and integrate them in the society as productive and contributing citizen.Mentally challenged children in the school are grouped into categories of preparatory, care group, Autism, primary-1, secondary, pre-vocational-1, pre-vocational-2 based on their age and IQ level. They are provided with special education based on the individual’s unique needs.
