Prince Nasser bin Abdul Aziz Center for Autism was established in 1418 AH under the name of the Academy of Special Education. Then the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz bin Abdulaziz, the first center of its kind to be built, equipped and operated according to international standards as the first model center for Autism in the Kingdom, with the generous support of His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Allah His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Association, donated the land of the center, which has an area of ten thousand square meters and is valued at 25 million riyals, in addition to the support of the Ministry of Social Affairs in the amount of ten million riyals . The total cost of construction and equipment for office and technical furniture amounted to 25 million riyals. The center is located in Al-Maather neighborhood in Riyadh city.
