Prasanna Autism Centre
Prasanna Autism Centre runs under Padmpurush Foundation a Public Charitable Trust No. F – 22867. Prasanna works daily with children suffering from ASD, their families and other concerned individuals.<br /> The Centre provides full time services to children between 3 to 13 years of age and for children between 14 to 17 years of age pre-vocational school has been started in the year 2012. The academic year commences in June, however, children are admitted throughout the year.<br /> Prasanna Autism Centre has about 38 children and works from Monday to Friday from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. They begin with one-on-one session along with therapy sessions with their teachers or for other related activities. Lunch time is between 12.00 pm and 12.30 pm. As per dietician menu plan, the children are served hot, nutritious meals freshly cooked in the centre’s kitchen. Thereafter, it is rest time till 1.00 p.m. Therapists and Psychologists are contionous on the floors serving these children with different therapies such as occupational therapy, speech therapy, behavioural therapy, etc.
