Pelican Centre
The Pelican Centre keeps open its doors for the poor and the needy brethren of our society. At present we have a treatment cum rehabilitation centre for the mentally challenged and a physiotherapy centre.<br /> <br /> We began the centre on July 18th 2004 and moved to the permanent premises adjacent to the Kulayettikkara St.George Jacobite Syrian Church. Currently we have 105 residents. They are provided free basic amenities and are treated and trained for small vocational jobs. Entering the eight year of our activities rehabilitation for the physically paralysed was inaugurated on 17th July 2011. A physiotherapy lab was also founded.
