The Myrddin Special Needs Unit was established in 1975, and is made up of three special classes for pupils with severe learning difficulties and profound and multiple learning difficulties. In 1999 an Autistic Unit was added to the school providing education for pupils aged 3 to 11years of age on the autistic spectrum.<br /> The school provides a warm, safe, happy and caring environment for both pupils and staff. All staff members are firmly committed to providing equality of opportunity for all and ensuring that the potential of each child is fulfilled. The school has a very good reputation in the community for the quality of education and level of care provided for the pupils. The school prides itself on the close links it has developed with parents and the community.
