Maxwell Institute for the Special Children is a Non-Profit Secular Organization with Special School & Day Boarding Facilities. Fully equipped with the School Session, providing Special Education, Therapies and multiple skill training to all kind of children with Behavior Problems and Multiple Disabilities like Autism, Slow learners, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, Mental Retardation, Down Syndrome, Dyslexia, Speech & hearing impairment etc. We believe that the warmth, love and encouragement these children experience here will bring out their hidden potential and help develop their personality. A bright, stimulating and attractive learning environment has been created for these special children, particularly in high standards of cleanliness and maintenance. Each classroom has an attached washroom with change area to train them in the activities of daily living skills like brushing, dressing, grooming skills etc. Each classroom has display boards to exhibit the creative work of the students. Every child that walks in through our doors is seen by one of our experienced consultants and provided with screening and an intervention programme that is carried out by a team of professionals including educational and medical specialists, a psychologist, speech therapist and several remedial teachers. Parents are empowered with the necessary skills and knowledge to care for their special child at home.
