Jasmine Fong

Jasmine graduated from Curtin University at the end of 2010 with the Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. Jasmine has been part of the AIM OT team since 2012. She has a passion for working with children with disabilities and has experience in screening, assessment and intervention with children with learning difficulties as part of the Child Development Service in the Armadale region. She also has volunteered her time in various community programs for children, teaching them social skills, gross motor skills, social interaction, age relevant play techniques and participation. Jasmine became a qualified children’s yoga in April 2018 and incorporates breathing and mindfulness into recommended strategies for children.Jasmine has a particular interest in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and also in the areas of fine motor development, handwriting, school readiness, social skills and self regulation. She also has experience with working with children with ADD/ADHD, Ehlers Danlos Syndrom, cerebral palsy, dysgraphia, Turner’s Syndrome and children who have difficulty with sensory processing, self regulation and controlling their emotions.
