With a graduation in Occupational Therapy from Seth G S Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai, Mahek is a paediatric OT and neuro- rehab consultant with over a decade of experience treating children with neurological disorders. After her post graduate in NDT/ Bobath technique from the Bobath Center, London, she trained in treating young babies (0-2) with the NDTA, USA.Apart from her training in Theratog Application, Developmental Biomechanics, Handwriting without Tears, Mahek is an internationally licensed and accredited Brain Gym 101 instructor, certified in Sensory Integration from WPS and the University of Southern California, a certified provider of Therapeutic Listening Program, a certified autism intervention specialist, a former coordinator and Consultant Occupational Therapist at Don Bosco, Prafulta and a visiting Occupational Therapy Consultant with JBCN International School, Mumbai. She is currently a consultant at Hinduja Health Care Surgical Hospital, Khar, Mumbai. A Brain Gym 101 trainer, she also trains parents and professionals on child development and sensory processing, developmental delays, red flags for delayed development and autism intervention.
