Amrit Centre for Special Needs (formerly known as “The Society for the Aid of Handicapped Children”) is an NGO, which started to function in 1963 to cater to the needs of differently abled (intellectually and physically challenged) children.<br /> <br /> The Institution caters to children of all ages from birth to 18 and above with different types of disabilities. We have well equipped departments with trained personnel to handle various services focusing on intellectual, physical and vocational abilities.<br /> <br /> Amrit Centre is largely supported in its activities by help received from the philanthropists, sensitive public, Industrialists and Service Organisations.
