Who is Nikita Kirane?
Nikita Kirane (M.A.S.L.P), a member of ISHA (Indian Speech and Hearing Association), ASHA (American Speech and Hearing Association) and RCI (Rehab Council of India), received her Masters from Topiwala National Medical College (Nair Hospital), Mumbai, and underwent several Fellowships for treating Speech and Swallowing Disorders. She specialises in feeding and swallowing & has almost a decade’s experience in Speech Language Pathology. She’s actively involved in the using electrical currents for improving swallowing & has been co -author to chapters on Speech and Swallowing in the book, ALS/MND Guidebook for Patients and Families. She has also had 3 international publications and won awards for her research work.
