Who is Dr. Bala M Pillai?
Dr. Bala M Pillai, a Board Certified specialist in pediatric physical therapy with a Doctorate in Physical therapy and a special interest in ASD, is the Founder & Director of Playground to Learn LLC, New Jersey, USA, which provides advocacy and comprehensive developmental services for children with developmental disorders. An active member of the “Autism Task Force” initiated by the American Physical Therapy Association, she’s co-authored several articles providing recommended guidelines in assessment and intervention for school-based physiotherapists working with children on the spectrum, provides workshops on Movement Based Learning Readiness Programs, & helps parents advocate for their child while navigating the IEP system in US public schools.
