Since qualifying in 1992 Rachel has gained a broad clinical knowledge in both inpatient and community settings. Client centred, goal focused therapy is her highest priority. Since 1999 she has worked at a senior level in the field of complex disability and specifically neurological impairment and the management of long term conditions. She has a particular interest in posture management and tissue viability, completing a post graduate masters certificate in 2007. Rachel also has extensive experience of working with adults who experience psychological ill health due to the long term consequences of their illness or the impact of disability. She has had work published in the International Journal of Therapy and Rehabilitation. She is known as a good communicator and teacher. She currently also works in the medico legal field as a care and occupational therapy expert.
