Aashray Special School was established in 1995 by a group of individuals who believed that every child mattered. With this strong conviction, a school was set up for children with special needs at Sanpada, Navi Mumbai.
Aashray was first started with only a handful of students. However, it quickly grew to reach out to more and more special children. Today, Aashray has a strength of 100 students and a staff of 20 trained professionals. It is the first special school to get IS0 9001-2008 certification, which it has retained since September 2005.
The staff and the management of the school is committed to develop this school into one of its kind, where special children can get individual attention which in turn can facilitate development of their physical and cognitive abilities.
