In an interview with the\u00a0<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Observer<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the singer revealed said, <em>&#8220;It was the wrong diagnosis when I was a kid. I was told I had brain damage. I always knew it was an unfair label. Now I have a clearer understanding of what&#8217;s wrong and I feel relieved and a bit more relaxed about myself.&#8221;<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A Scottish therapist confirmed that Susan had an above average IQ. She was diagnosed with Asperger\u2019s (or Asperger Syndrome) a neurodevelopmental disorder. Individuals with this condition lack eye contact, face problems while holding conversations, repetitive behaviour, have\u00a0poor social skills\u00a0or may not show the right facial expressions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Asperger&#8217;s affects the communication skills and social interaction which ultimately causes an inability to form a healthy relationship. \u00a0As a child, she was often labelled as being &#8220;different&#8221; and bullied by others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Asperger&#8217;s is linked with anxiety and an inability to deal with tough situations suffering from bouts of depression and mood swings. \u00a0Her being diagnosed with Asperger&#8217;s neither distressed nor confined her.\u00a0<em>&#8220;It will not make any difference to my life.
